Find a starting point
A venue, favourite flower, family tradition or colour memory can provide a direction. Start there and build a moodboard that expresses the atmosphere you want.
Plan for each ceremony
Haldi, mehendi, sangeet and wedding may have different moods. Connect them through a shared palette, material or detail rather than repeating the same setup.
Balance beauty and movement
A stage can look stunning and still make guest movement difficult. Consider sightlines, entrances, photographs, seating and weather as the design develops.

Lighting changes a space between daytime and evening. Discuss practical illumination, warmth, stage focus and the feel of the reception together.
Review the real venue
Photographs help, but a site walk reveals proportions, access, power, rain plans and existing architecture. Design decisions get stronger when they respond to the actual place.
